A rock band is formed by a group of people who create musical magic through their voice and performance. However, things just don’t go right always, and many of them had to split even during the peak times of their career. Here are our top lists.
Guns N’ Roses
Guns N’ Roses were loved by fans all over the world. They are a very successful band. But three years after the release of their album ‘Appetite for Destruction’ in 1987, they pushed drummer Steven Adler from the group due to his severe drug addiction. The band carried on performing. But band member Axl Rose started to appear late for shows. He even refused to go on the stage at one night. After the ‘Use Your Illusion’ tour ended in 1993, the members went their separate ways.
The Everly Brothers
They were brothers and business partners. They had a fight on a Thanksgiving day, and things were not the same anymore. They stayed together for 20 years. But one night Don came to a Hollywood show in 1973 completely drunk. He began to say the lyrics inappropriately, and Phil smashed a guitar on his head and left the stage. The brothers then only spoke after 10 years in their father’s funeral.
They were famous. They released many hit albums. They played at concerts across Europe. Things were going wrong for some time. But in 2009, a backstage fight happened at a festival in Paris. They called off the gig and after that, the band no longer played.
The band was formed in 1977. They became popular within one year. But tensions began to develop, and they soon broke off as a band. The fans were terribly hurt by this separation.
All these bands could have given us much more. We would have heard them sing for a long time if it wasn’t for the terrible fight some of these members had. There are still lots of fans of these bands, and people remember them for their great music.
